Aug 17, 2006 Bottle. Pours a nice clear black tea brown with a good sized light brown head. Not much in way of aroma but has a black tea, sugar, yeast, with an overall bitterness. Has some red wine character to it as an aftertaste.

Aug 17, 2006 Amber with a distinct pinkish tinge. Large frothy white head. Aroma is sweet and malty with some yeast. Taste is alcoholic, sweet and fruity. A slight bitter aftertaste. Found it a bit too fizzy.

Aug 17, 2006 Bottled. Clear, brown, with an off-white head. The aroma has tobacco, dried fruits, yeast, candisugar, caramel and spices. Sweet, malty flavor with dried fruits and alcohol. Medium body and a finish with alcohol, bitterness and dried fruits. The aroma promises a lot, but the flavor, body and finish don’t live up to it. (060812)

Jul 27, 2006 Bottle. Dark amber body with low carbonation and a lasting off-white foamy head. Noce malty/hoppy aroma with yeasty and flowery notes. Alcohol is well hidden. Smooth and well balanced taste that carries yeasty, fruity, and caramel hints. Ends with a good bittersweet finish. Very enjoyable.
