33cl bottle, purchased at a grocery store in Antwerp
Clear brownish-red color with a tan head. A little sweetness, some cherries and brown sugar and maple flavors. Simple tasting, one dimensional and uninspiring. Lacking the requisite spiciness and yeast (totally filtered). Passable.

slightly brownish head, that lets a nice film on the beer beautyfull chestnut-like color smells spicy, darkly malty, some bergamot smell good carbonation malty,bitter-sweet taste, bergamot taste, even something meat-extract-like is there, hops, some dried bananas aftertaste first,malty,bitter-sweet but then fruity too, some alcohol seems less alcoholic than it is. the maltyness is a hiddeng a bit the fruity flavours, but by longer tasting they are there,so don’t drink that beer too fast interesting beer

Dark brown head, big yellow head. Spices, fruits and mild chocolate and alcohol in aroma, good basic aroma. Medium to full bodied. Pretty alcoholic flavor with spices and chocolate, aftertaste is dry with alcohol flavor. Expected more out of this.

Bottle, 33cl. Beautiful red beer with a nice white head. Aroma isn’t strong, but it has some fruits and a strong yeastiness. Flavour is quite good, malty and fruity. Alcohol is somewhat apparent, but not overwhelming. Pronounced bitterness in the finish. Probably the best of the Leffe family.

Clear dark amber body; average, mostly lasting, light brown head with good lacing; small bubbles of medium density. Moderately malty aroma with light notes of hops; spicy (cloves) notes together with caramel, prunev and a clearly distinguishable alcoholic background. Flavour is moderately bitter, notes of prunes and caramel. Body is medium with an oily texture; soft carbonation and moderte alcoholic feeling at the end. Good beer, very similar to Leffe Vieille Cuvee, but less complex and with a too strong alcoholic background.
