Aromas of whraty banana and cloves with dried herbs (rosemary) and spicy overtones. Some crystal sweetness. Smells thick and warm. Caramel and heady spices combine for a warming and complex experience in the mouth. Again the dried herbs emerge, filled out by a mid-palate sweetness. Nice. nycbronchart (6), San Diego, California, USA does not count | 5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Jul 6, 2005 caramel, alcohol, butterscotch, red, cloudy, frothy, heavy cloying sweetness, medium bitterness, lightly sour, full body, average carbonation, long finish, zathrus13 (1296), Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA

Aromas are sweet malt, brown sugar, with some yeast and spice, too. Flavor is spice, brown sugar, and a little bit fruity. Very nice, but a bit too sweet. Paskal (146), La Prairie, Quebec, Canada
A brown Belgisch beer with multiple spices aromas and possessing a generous white foam collar, Leffe Radieuse presents a strong taste, a bit sweet at first but then sour. A good balanced beer remembering me my grandmother’s syrup. TomDecapolis (3150), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 20, 2005 Poured from the bottle with a nice off white head that laced the glass. The body was amber and the aroma...you got it, it’s a Leffe. Still can’t really pinpoint exactly what the aroma and flavor of a Leffe is, but it is there in all the ones I tried (Brune, Tripel, Blonde and now this). Slight cherry in the aroma with a sweetness in the flavor that helped set it apart from the other Leffe’s. A slight alcohol taste and burn. MesandSim (5818), London, Greater London, England

The aroma is everything with this beer, and its perfumey scent makes each sip taste very sugary and sweet. A great, almost fruity, aftertaste. In my opnion, it’s the best Leffe beer! bkurtz (276), Peru
