Rich red colour, clear (not bottle conditioned), fluffy white head. Aroma is fruity, smoky and perhaps yeasty (reminds me of Delerium Tremens). Creamy & malty. Smoke, pepper, spice with fruit a perhaps a slight wheat character?. Tasty. Sigmund (2275), Hafrsfjord, Norway

Surprisingly weak aroma, but what there is, is pleasant: Ripe and dried fruits, just a faint hint of barnyard. Flavour has malts and spices and a great deal of alcoholic warmth. bitter (1137), Henderson, Nevada, USA

Wouldn’t think I’d ever say this about a Leffe, but it’s actually a bit boring. Too sweet and a bit too fizzy. vanvenlo (794), Glen Iris, Australia
