Aroma had definate notes of rasberries mixed with some yeasty belgian fruity notes. Flavor was quite bitter, the kind of bitterness you get from green berries, mixed with a rather cloying sweetness. Guess it just went down hill from first to last impression. Fred82 (376), Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Pleasant, not too complex......... donfardz64 (419), Wellington, New Zealand
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 26, 2009 Bottle. Pours red/orange, off white head. I do like the colour. Aroma is sweet, like sugary plums. Flavour has berries and plum, which fade to some hop bitterness. A good balance in the flavour. Finish is bitter and dry. Nicely made ale, alcohol doesn’t show at all. kiwibt (51), , New Zealand

Aroma of mouthwash, tasted a bit like mouthwash at the start but once I drank some more it started to taste better. Strong bitter aftertaste. EnSiFeRuM (501), Quebec, Canada
Dervock (178), Emu plains, Australia

The first taste was again of sweet fruityness but the aftertaste was quite harsh, it mellowed as a drank a bit more but still wasn’t great.
