Quite basic, and quite boring. More bitterness than the other Leffe’s I’ve tried, which is nice. Some berry fruits, like raspberry of strawberry.
Sweet and boring, but nice enough to drink! zvikar (424), Tel-Aviv, Israel

Pours a clear ruby colour with a small size head and good carbonation.
Smell is very fruity, sweet fruits like cherries and raspberrys there, like a mix of kriek and framboise.
Taste is very fresh and clear, has the raspberrys there too, but no cherries.
Goes down with a nice bit of warmth. Russo (595), Campinas, Brazil

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 21, 2008 Sweet and sour taste, with a note of tropical fruits and spices, especially banana. Finishes off rather flat. Pretty well balanced, with no strong alcohol tang, though this is a fairly strong ale. A pleasant beer.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 20, 2008 Dark red beer with a thick rocky off-white head. Aroma of nice malts, spices and dried fruit and alcohol. Flavour is caramel, citrusy and some spiciness. The alcohol is hidden well. Nice finish with a bitterness that lingers. floydian1 (275), FNQ, Australia
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Dec 8, 2008 Hazy dark red-brown ale with 2 fingers of off white head. Yeasty nose of roasted malts and chocolate. Sweet fruity palate with a warming mocha-like finish. Smooth and full bodied. Hides its alcoholic strength well. Unusual but I like it.
