Flavour is malty sweet, fruity, a bit spicey. Like a strong version of Palm Speciale. Not my style, too many "amber" flavours. Sammy (3977), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 5, 2008 I really like this beer! It’s a beautiful brownish red with lesser head than most Leffe beers. It’s surprisingly smooth for an 8.2% beer. It’s got a good fruity flavor with a nice light mix of caramel. It has a good finish to me. Overall, a very impressive beer. Not a surprise for a Leffe beer. lithilorn (173), Covilhă, Portugal

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 23, 2008 Pours a clear reddish brown color with a thick white head. Aroma of apples with some candy. Interesting flavor of apples with a strong presence of candy, it’s sweet from the middle to the end. The body is light with a liquorous texture and moderate carbonation. Interesting, I have fond memories of drinking this some years ago, I’m glad to find I can still find pleasure in drinking it.
