Sep 16, 2003 Thought the aroma was of cherry cinnamon and malt,reddy colour and a good head with lacing, more fruit on the taste and and a chalky mouthfeel.

Nov 19, 2005 Gol;den brown appearance with a full body.Some fruitiness but not overpoweringly so, and quite deceptive as the relatively high alcohol presence doesn’t distract from the complexity of the beer.Left plenty of lacing. A good drink especially in the winter..

Oct 1, 2009 0.33 L bottle. Rocky white head with excellent laceworks. Bright, reddish-brown color. Peppery, caramellish malts and gently sweet fruits on the nose. Taste is bitter-sweet malty, has a fine spicy and earthy hop bitterness with notes of metal. A discreet fruitiness underneath. Well-bodied. Spiced, bitter-sweet ending. A pretty good one.

Dec 26, 2001 Updated: Apr 4, 2003This was fresh as can be. Enjoyable fruit laden aroma. Copper color with brussels lace the whole way downward. Flavors of wood and cane sugar. Finish is explosively carbonated with a very dry, slightly bitter finish. This one surprised me.

Dec 26, 2003 Deep amber in colour, creamy beige head. Aroma was slightly sweet, caramel, cream and yeast. Flavour was sweet, some malt, smooth and full bodied. Finish is very smooth with a mild bitterness.

Jul 6, 2006 Brown with reddish tint, head was light brown but diminished quickly. Sweet smell and taste of caramel and spice.
