Bottle, at GB. Brown with light brown head, large, almost disappearing. Aroma of burnt malt and fruity bitterness of hops. Flavor moderate bitter, well balanced. Medium to full body, creamy, normal corbonation.

33cl bottle purchased in Luxembourg: poured reddish/brown with a medium sized off white head. Moderate bubblegum aroma, caramel. Flavor is candyish, bubblegum with moderate sweetness. Little bit of caramel. This is a nice beer.

Rating 609 Bottle from Pitfield Beer Shop, London. 330ml. Served in a Leffe glass. Rich red colour, clear (not bottle conditioned), fluffy white head. Aroma is fruity, smoky and perhaps yeasty (reminds me of Delerium Tremens). Creamy & malty. Smoke, pepper, spice with fruit a perhaps a slight wheat character?. Tasty.

This reddish amber beer pours with a nice tan head. The flavor is sweet and sour, with a candy note. There is an initial alcohol taste and a bitter finish. A decent brew for a cold winter night.

The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also. Very creamy foam. Flavor is not so good, very much like medicine. The finish somehow chemical. Not so good.

Bottle, a deep brown colour with just a bit of carbonation and think bubbly beige head. A fruity caramal aroma. Very sweet, which is countered a little further in the swallow by some carbonation and acidic sourness. Syrupy toffee flavours, with a strong woody alcoholic touch, akin to whiskey. Could have got a higher rating, but I just can’t get past that acidity.
