Shared this one w/ SkyCop32. Picked up at Maruhn Getränke in Darmstadt. Pours a darkish red/brown. Aromas of spice, coriander, yeast, and alcohol. Flavor has an alcohol taste to it, mixed with a nice smokey dark fruit. Also has strong hints of spice and orange.

330 ml bottle. Good looking reddish brown body with a big off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, brown sugar and fruit. Flavor is sweet malty, caramel, slightly roasted sugar, spices, fruit, some bitterness and alcohol. It’s quite complex but easy to drink. Excellent balance between sweetness, bitterness and alcohol with a pleasant finish.

33cl Bottle from Sainsburys. Reddish chestnut with a thick white head; rich aroma of candied fruit, alcohol and malt; nutty and caramel flavours, with a long fruity and slightly bitter finish; alcohol rather too obvious for my taste.

Amber color, with a small beige head, with a yeasty, fruity nose, with a subtle wet oaky cherryish note, with some dried dark fruits, with some toast malts and spices, hint of candi sugar in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, malty, fruity character, with a toasty, caramelized malts, with a faint chocolatey note, with some oaky cherryish and fruity raisiny flavors, with an accent of nutmeg and coriander spiciness, in a warmth mouthfeel, leading towards a warm, malty, cherry-like liquor, hop bitterness finish.

Pours a dark amber with an off-white somewhat dissappearing head. Some lacing. Sweet and quite dry. Flavors of caramel, malt, prunes and some alcohol. Sharp fruitiness that lingers with the bitter-dry finish.

Bottle, 33 cl. Dark amber/brown color, white head. Aroma fruity, sourness. Medium body. Taste is sour, very malty, some bitterness, light fruity to. Warm feeling. But not very good for me.

330 ml bottle, bought in shop in Oostende. Brown color, nice off-white head. Aroma is malty with a kind of «oldness», some spices. Flavor is sweet malt and some spices, rustic sourness and fruit. Dry finish. Strange, but interesting beer.
