Sep 14, 2008 Bottle. Reddish brown colour with a medium beige head. Spicy and malty aroma. Falvour is fruity with caramel, spices and sweet malt. Smooth body.

Nov 22, 2009 Deep ruby/amber pour with a large billowing and frothy off white cap. Lots of nice lace is left on the glass, and the head retention is great. Immediate nose of banana and bubblegum, some perfume, with toast and dark bread and spices. Tastes great. Of banana and tropical fruit, plum, spicy with good concentration of toasty notes. Overall very malty, sweet-ish, with a good zip of citric hops right at the finish. Creamy finish, balanced, very good.

Nov 12, 2005 Large off white head, light carbonation.Fresh aroma, herby, some hops. Enjoyable taste, bitter sweet finish. bitter stays long. A very special beer.

Feb 2, 2002 Updated: Apr 29, 2004Red-brown coloured, medium head. Fruity and malty aroma. Flavours of fruits, roasted malts and some port. Fantastic bitter, warming and long-lasting finish. Gets better when warming up. Re-rate: Bottled a few years old. Very nice aroma, but the flavour and especially the finish is not as good as i remember. Bad bottle or doesn't this age very well?

Mar 28, 2005 (on bottle) ´bit more spicy than the other leffe. Dark amber brown, with e reddish tone. Much fruit and spices in the nose, less in the flavour. Ends a tad paper-ish.

Mar 7, 2006 Abit malty this one is, flavor isn´t very stong, abit watery too, a little dissapointed with this brew, expected more from it...ho hum.
