Bottle, 26th Feb 2008. Reddish amber with an aroma of red berries and raspberries. Treacly and sticky in the mouth with a nutty malt flavour. Decent stuff.

Some malt and sourness in the nose. Medium, but fast disappearing head. Beautiful amber colured body. Malty taste first, but ends in a rather bitter finish. Quite carbonated, but not that nice warm feel you get from other belgian ales.

Dark orange/ amber pour with a good amount of head and lots of sticky lacing on the glass. Nice yeasty fruity aroma, lots of cherries and apples. Flavor is spicy and fruity, more apples and some subtle hops. The alcohol is a little present but enjoyable. A nice sipping beer.

Bottle @ Café Gollem. Amber colour, white head. Malty aroma, caramel, fruits, spice. Flavour is malty sweet, fruity, a bit spicey. Like a strong version of Palm Speciale. Not my style, too many "amber" flavours.

Bottled 33cl. It pours a clear amber beer with a big slightly tanned remaining head. A sweet aroma of malt, bubblegum, banana and spices. Some hay, leather and peanuts in the nose too. A sweet, fruity and spicy taste. Hints of metal. Slightly citrussy. A rather well balanced beer with some flowery elements. A complex brew. Some bitterness shows up in the finish which is grassy and buttery. A decent Leffe with a nice lacing.

[Sampled in 2004.] Had loads of this beer with home from the bike tour in France. Very cheap in a sixpack. My second favorite from Leffe caused by the notes of bitterness, melonfruit, complexbodied, nutflavor, lots of ingredients and a great finish

Copper red colour, tan head. Aroma has some sweet, red fruits. Flavour has some caramel malts. Alcohol well noticable. Average.
