Beautiful amber colured body. Malty taste first, but ends in a rather bitter finish. Quite carbonated, but not that nice warm feel you get from other belgian ales. robinvboyer (1440), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 12, 2009 Dark orange/ amber pour with a good amount of head and lots of sticky lacing on the glass. Nice yeasty fruity aroma, lots of cherries and apples. Flavor is spicy and fruity, more apples and some subtle hops. The alcohol is a little present but enjoyable. A nice sipping beer. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 19, 2008 Bottle @ Café Gollem. Amber colour, white head. Malty aroma, caramel, fruits, spice. Flavour is malty sweet, fruity, a bit spicey. Like a strong version of Palm Speciale. Not my style, too many "amber" flavours. Allen (1418), Switzerland
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 3, 2007 Bottled 33cl. It pours a clear amber beer with a big slightly tanned remaining head. A sweet aroma of malt, bubblegum, banana and spices. Some hay, leather and peanuts in the nose too. A sweet, fruity and spicy taste. Hints of metal. Slightly citrussy. A rather well balanced beer with some flowery elements. A complex brew. Some bitterness shows up in the finish which is grassy and buttery. A decent Leffe with a nice lacing. Very cheap in a sixpack. My second favorite from Leffe caused by the notes of bitterness, melonfruit, complexbodied, nutflavor, lots of ingredients and a great finish Bullit (1391), Glasgow, Scotland
