330ml bottle from an LCBOgift pack. pours orangish red with a lasting head. aroma of pils malt and candy. flavour of grainy pils malt, amber candies sugar. the finish is dry and slightly bitter. this brew has the classic leffe profile which is not a bad way to introduce someone to belgian ales but its a very macro way of making this style. this offering is moderately complex and actually quite enjoyable.

Bottled. Aroma is malty, sweet and fruity, particularly dark cherries. Caramelly, malty taste, some fruitiness and some spiciness. Nice.

Nice deep ruby color with a large brown head. Looks great! Aroma had definate notes of rasberries mixed with some yeasty belgian fruity notes. Flavor was quite bitter, the kind of bitterness you get from green berries, mixed with a rather cloying sweetness. Guess it just went down hill from first to last impression.

Have had this many times but never bothered rating it. This bottle’s from Sainsbury’s. Deep amber with a small off white head. Alcohol is apparent in the nose along with hints of banana, toffee and apples. Spicy taste to match with a salty, bitter edge. Medium bodied and a little flat. Probably my favorite Leffe to date but still a few to go...

Slightly roasty, malty aroma. Color is red to brown. Flavor is initially inviting, pleasantly sweet and malty, but finishes with an odd acrid bitterness and a pronounced alcohol flavor. Sweetness becomes cloying over the course of the beer.
