The aroma is everything with this beer, and its perfumey scent makes each sip taste very sugary and sweet. A great, almost fruity, aftertaste. In my opnion, it’s the best Leffe beer! thewolf (5822), Kolding, Denmark

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Apr 19, 2004 Ruby brown hue with a thin off-white head, well-laced though. Aroma is very very yeasty, but of very restrained depth, sadly so. There's some kind of fruitiness in there that is hard to put words on, but I'd throw oranges and peaches. Mostly dry yeast still and it continues in mouth where it gets slightly more interesting but no big winner. The palate is peppery, fruity, dry with light notes of dust, perhaps a bit too old. Body is almost flat, thin-medium and appears unappropriate. Magicdave6 (5558), London, Greater London, England
