Her thighs flicker. The pulsating tongue darts out from the oil and languishes over your body. The night comes. [3.9] Re-rate. Relais de la Porte d'Eyguieres, Les Baux, Provence. Tea, fig, banana & raspberry aroma. Tea, licorice & prune flavours. Tea coloured. Pleasant with a nice bite of bitterness in the finish. Skinnyviking (4157), Copenhagen, Denmark

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 22, 2006 Bottle (330ml). At Saint Alexandre Pub, Québec City. Poured into a Leff goblet, deep slightly hazy chestnut coloured with a small off-white head. Sharply bitter yeast and spice aroma with brown sugar malt, a tang of sourness on warming. Tasted of raisins and apples, sweet spice and sharp bitter yeast, a backbone of soft caramel malt - very pleasing blended/balanced finish after an initial hit of spicy bitterness. Average body, slick and slightly syrupy mouthfeel, very good carbonation and a slight bitter aftertaste - a very nice sipper, I enjoyed it as much or more than the Leffe Brune or Blond - very restrained and dignified. (4+) Mild aroma, lightly yeasty, hint of play-doh? Odd notes that I can’t decide if they are really there or not, hint of butterscotch and odd fruity notes. Strange. Sweet flavour, muddled sugars and malts, dry modestly alcoholic finish (6+). Average plus palate. Meh, decent but by Belgian standards it is average at best. Bottle at Leffe Plaza, Airport, Brussels
