Deep red in color, enticing aroma. Very tasty. I wonder if I can find it in the States.

Deep garnet, almost brown body. Beautiful head and lace. Aroma brings you yeast, caramel, fruit (cherries) and some hops too. A bit of alcohol warmth in the taste. Sweet but dry, a slightly bitter almond finish. Not quite as complex, thick or smooth as the élite belgians strong ales, but still a balanced and enjoyable brew. In Italy, this one could make the "Top 10 easily accessible beers".

Aroma of plum & alcohol with a slight bit of metal. Clear dark red moving toward brown with a large pouring head that reduces but remains and leaves lacing. Malty with small amounts of preserved fruit and bitter hop aftertaste which compliments and shows where I got the metallic aroma. Fairly highly carbonated.

Pours orange/amber with medium low head. Aromas of spice and fruit esters with subtle malt in background. Flavors of clove, bubblegum, malt with a warming finish from the 8.2%. Good head retention. Carbonation lends to creamy mouthfeel. Bottle in good condition from Belgian Shop.

33 cl bottle. Ruby tinted, dark brown beer. Aroma is spicy and yeasty. Some heavy spice, leather, dusty, and quite fruity. Apricot, plum, and some flowery aromas. Flavour is quite sweet, but the yeasty spice and fruit keep it well balanced.
