Very unique and has a color that is a dark amber. Head is thick but fades away. Aroma is nice and spicy and the beer drinks very smooth and you enjoy sipping it slowly. It’s surprisingly smooth for an 8.2% beer. It’s got a good fruity flavor with a nice light mix of caramel. It has a good finish to me. Overall, a very impressive beer. Not a surprise for a Leffe beer. zakkbironia (87), Athens, Greece

The aroma developed as the beer warmed up. Initially just malty, a toffee aroma developed and then some notes that were less pleasant (cheesy, barnyard?). Full bodied with ample, but refined, carbonation giving excellent mouthfeel. The flavour is very complex, but predominantly rich and malty. When cold the initial taste has fruity (maybe apples) hints, passing through toffee / trecale and dark malt to some bitterness in the finish. As the beer warms up more flavour is released with chocolate, cherries, plums and spicyness (cloves?). Excellent beer. caesar (3034), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands
