(Draught@Belge) Clear amber with a small, but firm, lacy and lasting head. Aroma of caramel and berries. Flavor is berry-fruity and neutral with a touch of yeast, well hidden alcohol, and no character. Almost medium body, lowish carbonation. Could as well be Palm Speciale, or any other generic Belgian macro brown ale. Has a quite strong berryish accent, though.

Nov 20, 2009 (Draught at Kaisla, Helsinki) Poured amber and clear with medium sized and white head. Aroma contained malts, molasses and treacle. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours found were malts, treacle, hint of hops and some bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and sweet.

Clear dark amber brown color, small off-white head. Sticky red currant - strawberry aroma. Harsh, grassy, fruity, alcoholic finish. Sticky mouthfeel. Like more alcoholic version of mixed Leffe blond and brune.

Oct 27, 2009 Draught @ Mallaskukko. Dark copper, tiny pale head. Sweet syrupy nose, little dates, hint of metal and alcohol, mostly just sweet dates. Flavor has same sugary dates, pleasant balanced herbs, suryp, hint of banana, simple but surprisingly good. Medium bodied, average soft carbonation. Pretty good for a Leffe, easy syrupy beer.

Oct 21, 2009 Draught at Mallaskukko Turku. Malty and syropy nose. Pale head. Reddish coppery colour. Malty and spicy taste with some hints of dark berries. Hoppy bite. Soft end.

Oct 3, 2009 Draught at Old Bricks Inn, Jyväskylä. Copper color. The aroma and flavor is sweet, caramelly, fruity, clovey and peppery. This one has an industrial and soft drink like feel.

Sep 30, 2009 Dark coppery colored with medium sized white head. Perfumy and floral, spiced and sweet caramelly aroma, definite Leffe-character here. Medium bodied. Flavor is also sweet in start with caramel and same floral touch, aftertaste dries with thin yeast and spices.

Sep 30, 2009 I had this in a small pub in Milan on tap. Beautiful red beer with a small white head. Aroma / flavor is sweet with caramel malts and some red and blue berries. It was quite nice for a dessert but the sweetness and alcoholiness made it quite challenging for me that night.
