Sep 5, 2009 Bottle. Mild farty aroma, nicely malty and spicy. Hazy golden colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is quite sweet and spicy, good alcohol level. Slightly rough alcohol flavour and bitterness, but that is needed to balance the sweetness a bit.

Aug 28, 2009 It is a beautiful warm amber color and the head is creamy. The aroma has sweetness and notes of spice, yeast and malt. The flavour has sweetness and notes of coriander, other spices, yeast, malt, fruit, citrus, alcohol and the finish is slightly dry. IMO it’s a bit too sweet....

Aug 27, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a thick foamy white head. Rich aroma, of malt, dark fruits, wood, sugar, and a hint of citrus. Taste is quite sweet, a lot of sugar, candied fruits, malt, dates, and wood. Lingering sweetness. Pretty good, but kind of boring.

Aug 21, 2009 Clear golden with a tiny white head. Sweet malty aroma with fruity and coriander notes. Flavour had ripe fruits, malt, caramel and hops, coriander and warming alcohol towards the end.

The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of alcohol as well as medium notes fruit - especially peaches, caramel, and alcohol, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

Aug 18, 2009 Notes of yeasty esters on the nose, dust, sweet grain, sugars, light banana, apple, and pear. Banana, pear, grain, honey, sugar, apple, alcohol.some limgering burn and sweetness. It leaked a little in my luggage so carb was softer than expected, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it could have been.

Aug 5, 2009 bottle thanks to bhensonb. poured a nice looking gold with white head and some lacing. this was border line 4 on appearance. aroma was decently complex with sweet notes, orange, spices (cinnamon), pear, candi sugar??? flavor was orange, spices, alcohol, citrus, and candi sugar. body was medium with low carbonation and somewhat of a slick feeling. it was good but not great by any means.
