Left Coast Blitzen Belgian Ale

On tap at Oggi’s Carmel Mountain, San Diego. Bright yellow amber with a fluffy white head. Smell is spicy sweet. Citrus, Belgian yeast, and spices. Taste is a bit disjointed. Honey, pineapple, sugar, and creamy. Interesting, but not all that good.

On the guest tap at Pizza Port (San Clemente). Slightly hazy, yellowish amber coloring with a thin, white wisp of a head. Some lemon zest and banana liquor aroma. Creamy banana texture, with a nice light yeastiness to compliment. Some clove spiciness is left for the finish, but is pleasantly smooth. Frozen banana cream pop smack.
