22oz. bottle. Huge citrus hop aroma, fresh and green with notes of lime, grapefruit, orange and watermelon, also featuring a certain doughy, cookieish sweetness and plenty of toasty caramel malts, perhaps even a hint of vanilla in the background. Lightly hazy deep golden color with a faint amber cast and a lasting, fine head. A rather large amount of sediment left in the bottle. Flavor is surprisingly well-balanced for the style, with nearly equally massive malt and hop profiles, the hops contributing a copious amount of citrus and pine, as well as a resinous, drying bitterness, countered by a colossal malt base, bringing sweetness in the form of honey, caramel and light brown sugar, almost candyish, some bubblegum and cake-like notes present. Finishes with a blend of tingling bitterness and warming alcohol. Mouthfeel is full, creamy and oily, body is appropriately massive. Really tasty stuff here. Thanks to Josh!

[1307-20080418] 22floz bottle. Fresh multi-grain bread aroma with dull malty woods and an evergreen background. Hazy, medium orange body with a quick creamy off-white head. Super malty bitter grainy bread flavour with a balanced hop "infusion" as an aftertaste. Medium-full body has a very bitter finish. Handles the alcohol well, "That’s a double."

pours copper thin white head, nice hop aroma, though not that strong, sweet on front of the tounge, bitter finish leaves the pallet fast.Hides the alachol very well, very easy drinking double ipa.I like this beer, but I feel that for an double IPA it is not quite as good as some others I have had.Dont get me wrong this is a good beer, but I was expecting more.

22 ounce bottle from Oggis in San Diego, CA--Poured a West Coast Style pale amber-copper body with a fluffy thick whitish head. Nice hoppy, floral, piquant nose. Very citrus and grapefruity! Sticky, gripping with a hearty malt underpinning. Very delicious!!!

22 oz bottle. Copper/white head. Hops, citrus, pine aromas. Extravagant & in your face use of hops. Balanced and intricate flavors with small malt. Citrus. Bitter but not too offensive. Flavor stays with you.Could drink all night long but 9.4% says you wont be doing too much else.

Bomber. Poured a cloudy orange with a white head. Aroma is very hoppy with a very complex blend of hops. Some pineapple and citrus present. Taste is similar with more big hops, lemon, pineapple, grapefruit. Some caramel also backing this one up nicely. Mouth is sticky and finish is bitter. A very nice IIPA.
