Commercial Description:
This copper colored Amber Lager has a malty flavor with a clean, dry finish. Hopped exclusively with Amarillo hops, the beer has a wonderful floral/citrus aroma and flavor. This is a classic West Coast Amber Lager.

~Pours an amber color with small lasting head. ~Light malty aroma with some spicy hops. Smells crisp. ~Toasty malty flavor followed by a light bitterness. ~Light feel, dry, bitter finish ~Easy to drink would be refreshing on a hot day. The bitter taste is a bit strange. I dont think I will be saying "una mas" after this one. Not bad though.

Tap @ Scottsdale Oggi’s location. Aroma was weak with some spice and a metalic aroma. Amber body with off white head. Sweet sticky cinnamon spicey candy flavor. But at time during drinking the pint of beer it was somewhat watery. A sweet spicey aftertaste was lingering. Not bad little unusual.

Seasonal on tap at Oggi’s Scottsdale (4/12/08). Pours a slightly hazy dark amber color with decent head and great lacing. Nose is malt and spices. Palate is malt, floral hops and a bit of pine bite in the finish. Medium mouth feel. Decent beer.

Scottsdale location. The beer pours to a bright glowing brassy amber body with a nice dense, creamy white head. The aroma is similar to an aromatic silage. I don’t have any idea what they were going for here. The flavor was fortunately interesting. Toasted malts meets crisp grains and citrus hops but it’s not overly bitter. Lively and refreshing. The palate is nicely textured and refreshing. I thought it was an APA.

Slightly hazed amber appearance, decent head formation. Malty aroma, slightly bready, slightly grainy. Light clean malt palate, mildly toasty, decent hop bitterness.

Draught at Oggi’s Santa Clarita (the worst Oggi’ of all)
Amber body below a medium sized white head which leaves behind delicate lacing. Malty sweet with a surprising amount of hops for the style. Diacetyl, could be intentional, doesn’t detract from the beer. Well rounded and balanced, if only more lagers where like this

This brew pours with an amber body topped by a medium thick head with some lacing. The flavor is slightly sweet and malty with slight toffee notes, a little sourness and a little fruitiness. The flavor is sweet and malty with notes of sweet fruit, toffee and a little bitterness. Meidum bodied, tingly on the tongue and slightly warming.
