Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival. Clear pale golden, small head. Bready grapefruit aroma. Sweet with hops drying it out and some alcohol to warm. Rather soft with chewy mal carrying the grapefruity hops towardsa resiny bitter finish.

Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival 2009. Golden color, small offwhite head. Hoppy fruity aroma, pine apples, apricot, grass. Huge hoppy flavor, dry, grassy, metallic and with some perfume.

Tap at SBWF. The color was like apple juice, the foam rather small but compact. Pineapple and grapefruit in flavor. The taste was somehow quite thin, the bitterness was not that dramatic.

BPW #13 On tap at Old Town in Indy. Appearance is a nice clear gold with a small sustaining white head. The head was very sustaining as I started at it an hour while I got some food in my stomach and waited for my stomach to get back under me. Damn mixing of deliciousness the night before! This guy had some nice malt profiles with some light pine resin, slight grape notes. A mild IPA but just what I needed to get back on the horse.

Tap @ Mcmenamin’s - pale gold pour white head - almost no aroma. Flavor is slow to develop and creeps towards plain bitterness with not a lot of hop flavors. Simple refreshing but a touch lacking in complexity.

Cask at the brewery on 7/16/09. Light amber pour, very thin bubbly white head. Not much aroma, unfortunately. Taste is a very slow creeping bitterness on the tongue. Very smooth, but with balanced carbonation.

Pours a slighty cloudy amber with just shy of half an inch of head. Trying to have some head retention there. I would say it is a medium bodied beer. On the aroma I get a subtle floral hop smell and not much else. On the palate I am getting floral hops, some citrus there and a mild bitter finish. It just seems to one dimensional for me though. I guess I just want too much from an IPA but other than the name not too impressed with this one.
