Pours a copper amber with a medium frothy white head that leaves behind good sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a strong floral hop with pine. Medium mouthfeel with a very hoppy taste with caramel and a nice bitter finish. A very good ipa from left hand. after4ever (2822), Brier, Washington, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jun 15, 2009 Draft at Jake’s in Steilacoom. Pours a crystal clear medium amber with golden caramelly overtones. Modest rocky tan mousse up top with strings of webby lace. Somewhat subdued nose of peaches and a bit of apricot; definitely an IPA from the restrained side of the spectrum. A little bit of doughy malt showing through as well. Body’s creamy, medium sized, showing nice firm carb that’s not overdone. More doughy malt, peaches, and apricot on the mid-palate, with a light, dry finish. It’s a little thick, sweet, and mushy to pack much refreshment, and the palate needs some serious diversification if they’re aiming for slow sipping pleasures. Not sure if they were trying to walk the fence and ended up with the better qualities of neither side, or just what. JaBier (1261), Capital City, Ohio, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 14, 2009 On tap at Brew’s Cafe in Granville. Clear amber pour with a medium off-white head. Citrusy hop aroma (possibly Centennial?) with some malt presence. Orange hop flavor with some creamy malt and a bitter finish. Not much aftertaste. Better than I was expecting from LH. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 12, 2009 Peachy amber with creamy off-white head. Fruity, floral hops. Nice hoppy body full of sweet floral notes that finish with a flutter of frutiness citrus splash. Tangerine and peach with a bit of fruit punch. Body could have more zing as it is on the flat side. Clean, flavorful, and moderately strong IPA. BVery (563), Burnsville, Minnesota, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 1, 2009 TAP: pale orange clear pour, minimal head/lacing. Mild nose maybe some orange in there. Lots of malt on taste, nearly no hop bitterness. Citrus hop taste, some sweet, maybe a little funk to the taste. Pretty good IPA. Strykzone (1497), Wood River, Illinois, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 31, 2009 Enjoyed at The Stable. A nice darker copper color with a light tan head. Nose was grapefruit with some floral notes and caramel. This was a well hopped IPA but it was loaded with sweetness. It was also crisp and refreshing. Plenty of grapefruit along with that sweetness. thefle (113), , New Jersey, USA
