| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Oct 18, 2008 Hmm...found in a bargain bin at a local (won’t name names) Needless to say this sample has seen better days. The fact that such a hard to come by beer was in the bargain bin should’ve sent alarm bells ringing! Visually, the beer poured rather impressively, then died pretty quick. Aromas showed some dark toffee malt...Palate was quite thin, really lacked carbonation. Penetration of flavour was non existent. Finished super short. Don’t even know why i rated it, isn’t really a true representation of the beer...Or is it??? blutt59 (2146), Dallas, Texas, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 12, 2008 Chocolatey in the best possible way. Sat down with a six of these and a bag of M&M’s and had myself a feast. DrDavid (957), Johnson, Vermont, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 12, 2008 (Bottle). Sweet chocolate malt aroma. Reddish black body, little or no head. Flavor is tootsie roll, medium sweet. Sweet chocolate malt finish. Tasty, but not overly impressive. Syd (903), Waconia, Minnesota, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 11, 2008 Bottle pours really dark with red highlights and a large off white head that seems to cling well to the glass. The aroma is roasted and toasted malt and dark chocolate. The flavor is quite sweet, slightly roasted, chocolate, some slight ale sour notes, a slight lactic breath in the tailing finish. The palate is smooth but light. Overall, not bad. Oakes (8101), gone rambling, Cambodia
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 4, 2008 Dark brown, slightly opaque colour. The aroma is very chocolatey, with some fudgey accents. Fairly soft body with milk chocolate notes and a light nuttiness. Sweet finish. Butters (1651), Virginia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Oct 3, 2008 Reminded me a lot of their milk stout, but without the sweet, molassis flavors. Pours a clear dark brown with beige head. Aroma is roasty, and a little vegetal, but not offensive. Flavors of roast, bittersweet chocolate. Medium body was a little watery, but nice. Pretty good porter I suppose msante79 (835), Orland Hills, Illinois, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 2, 2008 12oz bottle. Poured dark brown and was clear around edges. Almost no head. Looked more like a brown ale than a porter. Aroma mostly chocolate with roasted malt and some coffee. Flavor was again mostly chocolate and roasted malt with some coffee and hops. Mouthfeel was very thin for a porter and almost watery. One of the worst porters I have ever had.
