Apr 17, 2008 Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours a pitch black with a tiny off-white head and sweet and creamy, chocolate-like smell. Some bitterness, immediately after taking a sip, but after that it is mainly a soft, creamy sweetness I taste. There is some roastiness, but mainly this brew is clean and harmless. I would have liked it a bit rougher.

aroma: smoke, cream, cocoa, hint o sour porter. nice. app: brown, black ruby water. eh. flavor: nice, lil to bland water. not enough richness. its ok. not bad not great. palate: to sodalike. OA: its ok. like that its not sour, its just a bit lacking.

Apr 5, 2008 Bottled on 09 12 07. Kind of cholocatey, some bitterness. Rich and roasty as well, but perhaps too much so. Not as clean as I wanted. I might have been more impressed if not for their stout, which I love.

Apr 3, 2008 Warm, chocolate merges with some coffee grounds and vinous hops. Dry finish. Carbonation is very fizzy, but body is dense.

Apr 2, 2008 Deep reddish brown. Nice medium sized head and has some good bubbling to it. Coffee strong and creamy. Smells like a cologne. Very rich taste and an almost chocolate-wood quality to it but the coffee and licorice whisks that away. Good.

Mar 28, 2008 Pours black with a nice ruby hue to it. Aroma is smells just like I walked into a Starbucks. Beautiful Coffee and cream flavor. Just the right amount of bitterness on the palate. Overall, this is a really great beer.
