| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 17, 2008 Bottle. Pours a dark brown colour with a light brown head. Tons of dark chocolate on the nose! Also some fruity notes (blackcurrants) and roasted malts. Promising! The taste is dry with notes of bitter dark chocolate, salty liquorice and some soy sauce. The finish is a bit bitter. The aroma was superior to the taste IMO. smith4498 (917), Miami, Florida, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 10, 2008 (bottle thanks OSLO) Pours brown with an off-white head that fades fairly quickly. Aroma is chocolate, light coffee, and as the beer warmed, soy sauce was present as well. Taste was very chocolatey, with a light roasted malt finish that had some light bitterness. Decent mouthfeel.
