| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 22, 2007 Acceptable aroma: roasty, coffee, a little sour. The appearance is dark brown/black, decent head. Flavor starts out sweet, then a noticable burnt roastiness. Finally, there is a wierd sourness to it. The finish lingers, but it has a strange sour milk quality. The mouthfeel is on the thick side. OK porter, not the best by any means. bierkoning (6100), La Tropica, Netherlands

Very dark brown color, beige head, fair lace. Sweet, milk chocolate, malty, cream. Soft, light sandy finish. Highly drinkable, welll balanced, nice flavors. Underrated at ratebeer IMO.
