Commercial Description:
A traditional London style beer, our Black Jack Porter highlights chocolate malt and Kent Goldings hops. Its slight initial sweetness quickly yields to the distinctive roastiness of the chocolate malt. The Kent Goldings hops perfectly balance the malt, making it very smooth, with a surprisingly clean finish.

A red-brown beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of caramel, as well as lighter notes of hops and roasted malt. The flavor is dry and quite roasted, as hard roasted malt. An OK beer.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a clear, orangey brown with a creamy, off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt. Surprisingly light-bodied with notes of roasted malt - hard roasted - and then a typical ashy edge. Dry finish. 220406

Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Transparently black, small head. Concentrated aroma of licorice and black currant. Dryish with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Crisp and very flavourful with notes of aniseed and plums. Finishes with medium bitterness. I really like the concentration of flavours in such a relatively light beer.

Bottle, 5.8%. Roasted and fruity aroma with some salty liquorice. Almost black colour. Small light brown head. The flavour is a lot like the aroma, but also with some sweetness, which is quite good.
