Commercial Description:
Our latest offering attempts to address an old saying that has plagued mankind since its inception. Many times we've heard, "more is not always better". Invariably the person on the receiving end of such a statement scowls at the ramifications. Here at Left Hand we realize that life cannot be reduced to or understood in absolute terms. Our latest addition to our lineup attempts to take exception with such broad statements about the human condition. Chainsaw is a connoisseur version of our award-winning Sawtooth Ale, designed to befuddle silly generalizations about life. We hope you enjoy!

Thanks to Fatty. Pours a lightly hazy orange amber with small floaties and an average off white creamy head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, floral and citrus hops while being sweet and malty. Flavor of caramel, hop bitterness, floral. Sweet and malty up front with a lingering hop bitterness.

Cold 750ml bottle corked: Pours an opaque orange amber color with a small light tank frothy head which dissolves and leaves some bubbles around the edges and lacing. Aroma and taste are of sweet malt, caramel, orange, floral hops, and sour notes. Full body with medium carbonation. Ending is first bitter, then sweet, then slightly sour.

Cloudy lightish brown/red color. Slight off-white head. Very nutty aroma, malty. Malty taste, somewhat acidic. Corn syrup sweet-like taste. Not too bad for a malty beer.

Big Bottle. A barnyard fermented silage aroma eminated from the glass. Wet barley grain. Murky caramel body with good head and decent lacing. A caramel flavor was present but the wet barley grain aroma was also in the flavor. Dry wet grain aftertaste on the palate. Brew worth a try the aroma and flavor were little complexing to me.

Poured a dark ugly chunky red brown. Aroma was very sweet and tangy. Tasted very thick and syrupy, with a strong alcohol finish. Lots of sweet dark fruit and hops.
