Draft at Capital Ale House Innsbrook. Pours a deep amber, clear, lasting tan head. Aroma is a big shot of hops, floral, earthy, and notes of tropical fruits, yet not grapefruit. Also some caramel sweetness. Flavor is a dead on match to the nose, quite complex and flavorful. A beer you can either sip and contemplate or simply drink. Very enjoyable, pleasant surprise.

Sep 4, 2008 Clear amber with large beige head. Sweet with toasted malt, caramel and hoppy notes. Ends delicious bitter.

Sep 3, 2008 Bottle (75 cl) from Systembolaget. Beatiful chestnut colour with a yellow-beige fluffy head. Malty and nutty aroma with some spicy and piney hops. Very soft mouthfeel. Well balanced with a slight touch of alcohol.

Aug 30, 2008 Hazy amber pour, with a creamy head. Aroma is caramel, toffee and a bit of spice in the aroma. Flavor is dried fruit, brown sugar, oak, vanilla. Very sweet but balanced by spice. Creamy, medium mouthfeel, with a bit of hop in the finish. Nice, though I’m not sure why they call this "the big mo’ series". That’s a bit disconcerting.

Aug 29, 2008 Maple syrup brown with a glimpse of red when held to the light. Beautiful tight eggshell head, 1/2 inch thick. Caramel, toffee, and molasses...pour it on pancakes!!! Honey-like consistency. Brown sugar and dark fruit as well; sweet but delicious!!!

Aug 28, 2008 2008 bottle. opaque amber pour with a 2 finger cream head. sugar, malts, hops with an overall candy scent. nice and easy on the palate with sweet malts taking over at first then balanced out by some nice citrusy hops.
