Sep 20, 2008 Updated: Sep 23, 2008Brown ale rating #100. Woohoo for numbers! Bottle. Filtered, clear medium dark caramel brown. Big dusty caramel syrup and maple cracker malt nose, dry and parched. Fresh, chewy, vibrant presence on the palate, but develops a sour, vegetal twang over the middle, turns into a strange minty toothpaste pastiness in the back. Smells decent enough, but tastes suspect.

Aug 31, 2008 Taste 8/8 Bottled 10/17/07. Looks: Brown with tan top. Aroma: Sweetness, toast, yeast, coca bean. Fresh. Taste: Creamy. Nice sour and malt mix. Smooth bodied. Tastes of quality ingredients. Caramel. Good brownie.

Aug 29, 2008 This beer seems to be sort of a straightforward beer. It has a distinct alcohol taste but is relatively smooth for that type of drink. It has a light malt flavor and is a easy drinking beverage.
