Aroma is of toasted malts, caramel, and some spices. Flavor is huge or the toasted malts and caramel. Not much of a lingering flavor. Not my favorite from Left Hand. It’s decent and would probably be a good beer to have on a warm, summer day. ratman197 (3189), Arvada, Colorado, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 1/5 | 11/20 | Jan 31, 2007 Bottle. Deep brown caramel with some toffee grit and nice dark chocolate and mocha overtones. Amber veering into copper with a creamy, fizzly tan head. Lightly bittersweet, light-bodied and kind of bland with a btitersweet aftertaste. Touch of sourness and a little more caramel. Nice, mild brown, but boring, kind of a disappointment from LH. jimhilt (1674), Bow, New Hampshire, USA
