Oct 20, 2006 Came from the beer of the month club. A nicd dark amber beer with a bready nose. Had hints of milk or cheese in the flavor. Clean finish. Good stuff.

Oct 19, 2006 Big cherry chocolate cereal aroma. Clear, ruddy brown, fun label. Sunflower seeds, moderate plum/cherry ttanginess, lightly sweet. A crisp, clean drinking brew. I fear that I’m missing some of the darker tones to the beer, doing it back-to-back with a coffeeish stout. Sunflower seed finish. Distinct sunflower seeds. Medium-light body. A nice interpretation of a brown.

Oct 8, 2006 sampled at tasting room. brown/copper pour iwth nice clarity and rising bubbles. caramel malts, sugars, floral hop aroma. smokey, burnt malts. nice carbonation. A tad light but good.

Oct 7, 2006 Draught at Brewery: Malty aroma. Poured amber in color. Small, off-white head diminished. No lacing. Sparkling. Flavor was sweet, malty, and nutty. Light body. Average carbonation. Overall, eh. Kinda weak all around.

Sep 21, 2006 Pours a grayish-brown with medium tan head. Nose is malt and chocolate. The flavor is rather odd... almost vegetal, very grainy, some mild malty sweetness. Rather thin palate. OK I guess.

Sep 20, 2006 Pours a reddish brown with a small tan head. Aroma is malty sweet and the flavor is quite sweet with very lttle hop bitterness to provide balance.
