Commercial Description:
Deep Cover Brown Ale is brewed in the tradition of the brown ales commonly enjoyed in the U.K. Despite its reddish-brown color, it is light bodied and slightly sweet, making it a very drinkable and refreshing brew. Dark caramel malts lend this ale its rich color, while toasted and Munich malts provide just enough body to be truly enjoyable.

Brown body with a very thin white head. Coffee, tea aroma with a tea and malt dominated taste. Semi-dry and smooth ending however.

Came from the beer of the month club. A nicd dark amber beer with a bready nose. Had hints of milk or cheese in the flavor. Clean finish. Good stuff.

Big cherry chocolate cereal aroma. Clear, ruddy brown, fun label. Sunflower seeds, moderate plum/cherry ttanginess, lightly sweet. A crisp, clean drinking brew. I fear that I’m missing some of the darker tones to the beer, doing it back-to-back with a coffeeish stout. Sunflower seed finish. Distinct sunflower seeds. Medium-light body. A nice interpretation of a brown.

Draught at Brewery: Malty aroma. Poured amber in color. Small, off-white head diminished. No lacing. Sparkling. Flavor was sweet, malty, and nutty. Light body. Average carbonation. Overall, eh. Kinda weak all around.

Pours a grayish-brown with medium tan head. Nose is malt and chocolate. The flavor is rather odd... almost vegetal, very grainy, some mild malty sweetness. Rather thin palate. OK I guess.

Pours a reddish brown with a small tan head. Aroma is malty sweet and the flavor is quite sweet with very lttle hop bitterness to provide balance.
