Commercial Description:
Deep Cover Brown Ale is brewed in the tradition of the brown ales commonly enjoyed in the U.K. Despite its reddish-brown color, it is light bodied and slightly sweet, making it a very drinkable and refreshing brew. Dark caramel malts lend this ale its rich color, while toasted and Munich malts provide just enough body to be truly enjoyable.

Nice aroma of nuts, toffee, toasted malts. The color is a sort of red/chestnut brown, medium tan head. The flavor is nuts, toffee, caramel. It is thin, and a little watery. The finish is fairly hoppy, and lingers. Not terrible, but I expected more from this brewer.

Sampled at the GOBF. Dark brown color. Very bland smell with some OK malts and nuttiness. Taste is much like the smell. Not a whole lot goin on. Bland malts and light hops. Caramel and toffee hints.

The color of this beer was much lighter than I expected, being a dark orange-brown but not a solid brown. The aroma was ok but hard to detect. The flavor was very nutty and surprisingly easy to drink. This reminded me of Newcastle but tastier. Nicely done session beer. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 03-22-2008 05:46:56 id: 645715

Crushed with Jakebra. Very light color, more red than brown. Some roast and some nuts with a surprising amount of body makes it just aight.
