| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 20, 2009 Nice aroma of nuts, toffee, toasted malts. The color is a sort of red/chestnut brown, medium tan head. The flavor is nuts, toffee, caramel. It is thin, and a little watery. The finish is fairly hoppy, and lingers. Not terrible, but I expected more from this brewer. bconley (351), Fern Park, Florida, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 4, 2009 The color of this beer was much lighter than I expected, being a dark orange-brown but not a solid brown. The aroma was ok but hard to detect. The flavor was very nutty and surprisingly easy to drink. This reminded me of Newcastle but tastier. Nicely done session beer.
