MrBunn (1521), Western, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 16, 2008 Bottle. Body is a tawny brown and has just the thinnest film of a head. Aromas are very weak: caramel, brown sugar and nuts. Flavor echoes the nose, caramel and brown sugar are the mainstays, but there is a bit of a date-like fruitiness. That said, it is all bleached out and not full in the least. Todeon (314), Sweden Dec 14, 2008 Bottle. Wussy head that lasted long. Aroma is nutty with some caramel malt. Taste is thin and smooth with some malty sweetness. Pretty boring! biznizness (930), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA Dec 4, 2008 testtestddddddddddddddddd to see if this works because none of my other ratings are going in right nowd mcjay (301), Neenah, Wisconsin, USA Nov 30, 2008 Deep brown color with a thin off white head. Has a nutty aroma and the taste of caramel malt. Relatively smooth, malty and slightly sweet. beerbill (1919), Laurel, New York, USA Nov 21, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy brown with a thin off-white head that lasted through the first couple of sips and left very little lace. Mild aroma of malt and a bit of chocolate. The flavor is malty and more flavorful than the aroma suggests, but there is no sign of the chococlate foreshadowed in the aroma. Light bitterness at the finish. Overall, a decent, non-offensive brown ale. shadey (1496), Rochester, New York, USA Oct 31, 2008 12oz. Deep mahogany pour with a thin layer of white lace. The aroma is a rich nutty sweetness. The flavor is smooth and well blended. Nutty and caramelly. KAggie97 (2406), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA Oct 25, 2008 Updated: Oct 26, 2008Bottle from Suttree. Thanks! Pours an average amber with an aroma of Grape Nuts. Flavor is Grape Nuts and fresh biscuits. Average mouthfeel. Not bad, but Grape Nuts is better as a cereal. Hbuck72 (122), Chickasha, Oklahoma, USA Oct 20, 2008 This beer smells of chocolate and malt, nice color, small amount of head. Overall the beer was full of flavor, yet no distiinct flavors came through.
