Left Hand Deep Cover Brown Ale

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of nuts - especially hazelnuts, combined with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and nuts, as well as hints of wood, leading to a dry and bitter finish. OK.

Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear ruby, average head. Aroma of sweaty hops and roasty malt. Medium bodied with clean mouthfeel. The roasty malt dominates the picture, with apricots and soapy hops simmering on top. A pleasant enough brown ale, well above average.

Bottled. Deep amber colour, not much head. Aroma is caramel, earth, some roast and big time malts. Flavour is earth, caramel a lot of malts and some slight metallicness. Wellbalanced.

Bottle. Clear orange red coloured with an off white head. Aroma of caramel, malts, rasted bread and hops. Sweet flavour of caramel, roasted bread and hops.

Clear copper body with small beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, some anise, cherry. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, some cherry. Finishes somewhat roasty. Watery light-medium body.

Deep red color, not much head. Caramelly-toffeish malty aroma with light coffeish notes. Quite light brew. A bit malty, some toffeish notes.

It’s a nice, red mahogany colored beer with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt and a bit of dried fruits. The flavour also has notes of malt, slightly roasted, dried fruit and the overall impression isn’t very strong. 2392
