Commercial Description:
Deep Cover Brown Ale is brewed in the tradition of the brown ales commonly enjoyed in the U.K. Despite its reddish-brown color, it is light bodied and slightly sweet, making it a very drinkable and refreshing brew. Dark caramel malts lend this ale its rich color, while toasted and Munich malts provide just enough body to be truly enjoyable.

A brown/amber pour with an aroma of sweet roasted malt. A nice sweet malty flavor and just a slight hint of bitter. A nice smooth medium bodied palate. A beer I think I could drink many of, nice beer.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy brown with a thin off-white head that lasted through the first couple of sips and left very little lace. Mild aroma of malt and a bit of chocolate. The flavor is malty and more flavorful than the aroma suggests, but there is no sign of the chococlate foreshadowed in the aroma. Light bitterness at the finish. Overall, a decent, non-offensive brown ale.

Dark amber color, small lifeless head that faded fast.Malty sweet caramel aroma.Light malt taste but this brew is heavy on the sweet, sweet creamy caramel, very light hops that don't really seem to come through until the brew warms a bit.the after taste is caramel in a big way, sweet and creamy like a hot caramel roll in the morning. This is a bit one sided for a brew, but i'm a big caramel nut so i will have to go a little extra on the numbers just for the taste.

Salida, CO Beer Fest-tap-Pours a copper hue with minimal tan head. This looked very thin and boring for a brown ale. The color wasn’t even right. Fishy aroma with some nutty notes. Thin, fizzy body. pretty boring brown. needs more in the body and malt category.

Pours a clear brown colour with a soft white head. Pleasent nutty characteristic. Roasted malt flavors preceded by a soft caramel-honey aroma. overall pretty tastey.

Brown-red. Nose is sweet, caramel and a bit of peat. Flavor continues the caramel sweetness, mildly smoky, but mostly caramel/cola sweet.

Bottle. Pours textbook brown with a thin white dissipating head. Faint barley aroma. Nothing really special here... reminds me of standard fare from a brew-kit. A bit of a woody finish. Otherwise boring.

A reddish brown appearance with a small head. A nutty and caramel aroma. The flavor is rather mild with some chocoate and toffee present. A rather thin body. Not too impressive.
