| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Apr 10, 2009 Part of a mixed 12 pack. Pour is a dark copper color and aroma is an almond nut sort of thing. Flavor is mostly caramel with a little bit of red fruit at the end. I would agree that this is a little thin but put next to a newcastle and this will win. Not that that is saying a lot. Brigadier (1257), Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 4, 2006 Thick, heavy foamy head over a brown semi -transparent body. Smelled of peanuts. I was able to detect tones of peanuts, oak and celery in the taste. It was a bit watery and thin, but overall very smooth. Not too bad although I doubt I’ll be actively seeking this out again. crazyvin (1254), New York, USA

One dimensional indeed a bland caramel prsence in the aroma and flavor not much of a hop finish. Seemed to be over carbonated. waolsen (1224), Littleton, Colorado, USA
