The aroma has notes of malt and a bit of dried fruits. The flavour also has notes of malt, slightly roasted, dried fruit and the overall impression isn’t very strong. 2392 hopdog (5576), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA

Filtered, clear medium dark caramel brown. Big dusty caramel syrup and maple cracker malt nose, dry and parched. Fresh, chewy, vibrant presence on the palate, but develops a sour, vegetal twang over the middle, turns into a strange minty toothpaste pastiness in the back. Smells decent enough, but tastes suspect. Cornfield (4938), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
