Commercial Description:
Deep Cover Brown Ale is brewed in the tradition of the brown ales commonly enjoyed in the U.K. Despite its reddish-brown color, it is light bodied and slightly sweet, making it a very drinkable and refreshing brew. Dark caramel malts lend this ale its rich color, while toasted and Munich malts provide just enough body to be truly enjoyable.

Reddish, brown color. Smell of nuts, sugar, caramel, minor hops, malt and some nutmeg and cinnamon. Taste of toasted malt, sugar, nuts, toffee/caramel and spice. A little watered down also.

12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a ruby brown color with a small tan head. The aroma is roasty malts and fruity hops. The flavor is roasty and toasty malts with a light floral hop presence. I am not much of a fan of the style but this was surprisingly tasty.

Pours with ahead that goes away, but leaves pretty swanky lacing and all. Red/brown color. Slightly fruity aroma with a sort of metallic smell is that makes an ounce of sense. Taste is pretty good with definitely enough malts and a few hops. Easy to drink because of the not too heavy body.

Poured from a bottle. Poured a brown color with a moderate tan head. Light aroma of chocolate and some nuts. Some chocolate malts with a bit of caramel flavor that is very smooth. Nice and drinkable, but a bit to one dimensional.

Bottle at Bishops Arms in Gothenburg. Red/brown color with a beige head. Malty aroma of caramel, syrup and nuts. The taste is also malty with notes of caramel, nuts, toffee and butter. Creamy but light body. Probably a good session beer.

Nice aroma of nuts, toffee, toasted malts. The color is a sort of red/chestnut brown, medium tan head. The flavor is nuts, toffee, caramel. It is thin, and a little watery. The finish is fairly hoppy, and lingers. Not terrible, but I expected more from this brewer.

A very mild brown. Nice color with a big head. Flavor is malty with some hops. Aroma is bread like. Not great. Not bad.

solid brown color, sweet scent, light carbonation, malty flavor with a slightly bitter and dry aftertaste, not a big fan of brown ales in general and this changes nothing
