Jan 12, 2007 This brown ale pours a medium amber color from a 12oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is slightly roasty malts and slightly sweet. A medium bodied brown ale. Malts are caramel and sweet, touch of nuts. Hops are floral and earthy. Kind of mild tasting and perhaps a touch sweet. Nice easy drinking brown ale. Wish it were a tad more nutty. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Sep 24, 2003 This brew poured a large head of off-white colored fine to large sized mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a hazy brown colred softly carbonated and a good lacing. The aroma is a mild malty one and the mouthfeel is crisp smooth and has a lingering "Brown" flavor. The flavor is a very nice refreshing malt with a hint of "Brown" flavor to it. Very nice and different. I liked what character it had, but I just wish it had more of it.

Apr 25, 2006 Full size on tap, at the brewery, 4/13/06: Reddish brown. Sweet and nutty and almost chocolatey, yet with a tangy finish, sour even. Just OK.

Oct 10, 2007 Bottle at Oliver Twist. Clear red/brown - offwhite head. Red berries, malty sweetness, plain, weak watery body & finish. Just plain boring.

Dec 23, 2008 Bottle. Pours a mahogany body with a tan head. Sweet malty with a light nutty malt character, cherry and a light woodiness. Thin body with no real etoh.

Feb 15, 2008 (Bottle at Bishops Arms, Avenyn, Göteborg) Shady brown color, medium size brown head. Chocolate, roasted malt (a hint), grains and malt, slightly acidic, some smoke scent. Acidic, roasted taste. Taste really doesn’t hold the promise that the scent left. Rather thin mouthfeel, also wuite low bitterness. Guess I was expecting more. Bottled on 04 25 07, is it just plain old? Or is it not an "American brown ale" but a plain old "English boring... ehm, brown ale"?

Jul 9, 2007 Bottle at Delirium Cafe, Göteborg. Amber color, nice offwhite head. Malty chocolate aroma,a bit roasted and with raisins. Malty flavor with vegetable notes. A bit thin.
