Commercial Description:
Deep Cover Brown Ale is brewed in the tradition of the brown ales commonly enjoyed in the U.K. Despite its reddish-brown color, it is light bodied and slightly sweet, making it a very drinkable and refreshing brew. Dark caramel malts lend this ale its rich color, while toasted and Munich malts provide just enough body to be truly enjoyable.

Bright chestnut color with a smaller beige head. Malt and nuts aroma. Flavors start out somewhat sweet with a later nuttiness, a it like caramels with dry roasted panuts. Light hopsack finish with quite a bit of acidity.

Had this on tap at Left Hand's tap room in Longmont, Colorado with Ringo. Appreanace: This pours a reddish brown color with a quickly diminishing white head Aroma: The schnauzola on this puppy is somewhat malty. Flavor: It's malty, with some bite from the hops. Decent, but not outstanding.

Medium copper color with a thin off-white lacey head. Light nutty aroma. Body is thin, lightly sweet with some caramel malt flavor and a hint of chocolate. Dry nutty finish. Smooth, but boring and not as thick as I like a brown ale.

Caramel, whiskey malting floor aroma with quite a bit yeast. Grainy nutty mouth feel, a bit chewy in the finish. . . Flavour is fair, nothing extraordinary. . . A decent session beer, but not one of my favourites.

pretty average brown. Gets points for being a full bodied dark brown, with a heavy flavor and noticable aroma. But pretty standard everywhere else

A reddish brown appearance with a small head. A nutty and caramel aroma. The flavor is rather mild with some chocoate and toffee present. A rather thin body. Not too impressive.

This brown ale pours a medium amber color from a 12oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is slightly roasty malts and slightly sweet. A medium bodied brown ale. Malts are caramel and sweet, touch of nuts. Hops are floral and earthy. Kind of mild tasting and perhaps a touch sweet. Nice easy drinking brown ale. Wish it were a tad more nutty. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Bottled. Everything about this beer was pretty much average. Nothing snappy in the flavor, although some mild sweet caramel notes were nice. Easy to drink - would be a pretty good party beer.
