Oct 22, 2007 Pours with ahead that goes away, but leaves pretty swanky lacing and all. Red/brown color. Slightly fruity aroma with a sort of metallic smell is that makes an ounce of sense. Taste is pretty good with definitely enough malts and a few hops. Easy to drink because of the not too heavy body.

Jul 16, 2008 Clear brown pour with a small fomay head. Nuts, light fruit and caramel malt make up the light aroma, as well as the flavor. Refreshing, but not a lot going on.

Jul 9, 2007 The color was a light brown/orange. The head was off-white, fizzy, and thin. The aroma was nutty, some slight coffee, and light caramel. The flavor was roasty, coffee malt, and lacking. The palate was thin bodied. The finish had some raost.

Feb 24, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear brown with amber highlights and a small beige head. The aroma is moderately sweet caramel malt, a little roast, bread, and a touch of nuts. The flavor is roasted malt, light chocolate and nuts. Very thin and unexciting.

May 12, 2008 bottle poured an amber color with a big two finger head of tan froth that fell quickly to become a thin layer. aromas of malt, caramel, nuts, and earth. mouth feel is on the light side with muted carbonation. flavor of nutty malt, light bitterness, candy sugar, and slight hops bitterness. nothing jumps out in the aroma or the flavors. bottle is six months old so perhaps laking in freshness.

Jan 29, 2009 Bottle. Pours a deep dark reddish brown with minimal tan head. The nose is roasted nuts and sweet malt. Taste is pretty much the same. Light-to-medium mouth feel. Every day average brown.

May 14, 2008 Milky brown with thin off-white head. Nutty aroma with toffee and other assorted sweet malts. Taste is malty and semi-nutty with a bunch of not so good adjectives to follow… thin, metallic, sour, semi-bland. Semi-dry finish.

Oct 19, 2008 12oz bottle from Party Pak Liquors (Indianapolis, IN). Pours a clear dark reddish brown with thin off-white head. Little head retention or lacing. Aroma is sweet and malty with notes of raisins, ripe fruit, some chocolate, some spice. Flavor is similar with more prominent chocolate notes, some sweet malt, toffee, caramel and maybe hints of coffee. Generally medium body with a sweet and malty finish.
