Commercial Description:
Deep Cover Brown Ale is brewed in the tradition of the brown ales commonly enjoyed in the U.K. Despite its reddish-brown color, it is light bodied and slightly sweet, making it a very drinkable and refreshing brew. Dark caramel malts lend this ale its rich color, while toasted and Munich malts provide just enough body to be truly enjoyable.

Clear, dark copper pour with miniscule beige head. Aroma if malty, both sweet and earthy. The flavor is slightly sweet with notes of raisin and caramel. Dry mouthfeel from the thin to medium body. Moderate finish. Refreshing.

bottle. Solid earthy brown with a thin white head. The aroma is also fairly thin with some barley. It’s a smooth malty brew, but with little else really going on.

A decent brown ale. Aroma was dark malt, toffee and nuts. Pour was a dark brown with a one finger tan head. Taste was nice. Burnt and roasted malt, caramel and nuts with decent carbonation and a nice chewy aftertaste.

12 oz. bottle pours a watered-down coca cola brown with sparse creamy head which disappears very quickly. Aroma is of sweet malt. Mildly carbonated. Front palate is sweet and somewhat reminiscent of molasses. Middle is of roasted malts with a light, faintly spicy caramel finish. An average brown ale, but certainly drinkable.

Bottle. 12 fl. oz. Cloudy, mahogany color with off-white head. Aromas of toffee and wheat bread. Thin, watery body with a smooth, soft mouthfeel. Flavor resembles the aroma. Initial sweetness quickly followed by a dull, watery ending. Ok.

On Draft at Rattle and Hum in NYC. Pours a dark brown body. Aroma is sweet malt. A very drinkable beer, somewhat watery. Forgettable.

A light golden brown pour from a bottle into a pilsner glass. Light carmel smell but an unsatisfying follow through. The finish was nice though as it held up and ended much better than it started.

This beer smells of chocolate and malt, nice color, small amount of head. Overall the beer was full of flavor, yet no distiinct flavors came through.
