Aroma of brown sugar, malt and treacle, dark copper, tiny tan head. Soft taste of malt, some butterscotch notes and woody too. Light bodied, sweet, bitter and drinkable. Good. bluemeow76 (693), Lewis Center, Ohio, USA

It has a medium soapy-looing head. It smells like baking cinammon bread. It has a stale malty flavor but a is balanced pretty well with a nice hop bill. The whole beer has a nice mouthfeel, both full and slightly chewy. This is a decent brown but not anything to get too excited about. TheBeerGod (3171), Newport News, Virginia, USA

Nose is slightly vegetal with malt, light caramel, and hops. Light fruit notes as well. Taste is better with creamy malts, caramel, light buttery popcorn notes, dried fruits, and light hops. Body is light-medium with moderate carbonation feel. Finishes with more caramel, malted sweetness, light hops, and dried fruit. Not too bad. ¾ (5009), Boulder, Colorado, USA

Filtered, clear medium dark caramel brown. Big dusty caramel syrup and maple cracker malt nose, dry and parched. Fresh, chewy, vibrant presence on the palate, but develops a sour, vegetal twang over the middle, turns into a strange minty toothpaste pastiness in the back. Smells decent enough, but tastes suspect. Under-age Drinker (96), Colorado, USA

So red that it would have been outlawed during the Cold War. Someone must have colored outside the lines with the red Crayola, who stole the brown? igneous1 (1374), Davenport, Iowa, USA
