Commercial Description:
Deep Cover Brown Ale is brewed in the tradition of the brown ales commonly enjoyed in the U.K. Despite its reddish-brown color, it is light bodied and slightly sweet, making it a very drinkable and refreshing brew. Dark caramel malts lend this ale its rich color, while toasted and Munich malts provide just enough body to be truly enjoyable.

Bottle at Delirium Café, Göteborg, Sweden. Reddish brown, small head. Weak fruity malt aroma, some earthy hops. A bit thin and watery, but with a good balance and a decent bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours textbook brown with a thin white dissipating head. Faint barley aroma. Nothing really special here... reminds me of standard fare from a brew-kit. A bit of a woody finish. Otherwise boring.

Bottle. Deep brown caramel with some toffee grit and nice dark chocolate and mocha overtones. Amber veering into copper with a creamy, fizzly tan head. Lightly bittersweet, light-bodied and kind of bland with a btitersweet aftertaste. Touch of sourness and a little more caramel. Nice, mild brown, but boring, kind of a disappointment from LH.

Pours a thin brown with a medium light tan frothy head. Aroma is superficial, sweet, corn. Taste is thin, sort of bland, tastes like brown beer, just cheap brown beer, slight sweetness, macro feel, acidic/metallic taste. Cold thin mouthfeel. Not really good. Refreshing I guess and a low abv for session type drinking.

(Bottle at Bishops Arms, Avenyn, Göteborg) Shady brown color, medium size brown head. Chocolate, roasted malt (a hint), grains and malt, slightly acidic, some smoke scent. Acidic, roasted taste. Taste really doesn’t hold the promise that the scent left. Rather thin mouthfeel, also wuite low bitterness. Guess I was expecting more. Bottled on 04 25 07, is it just plain old? Or is it not an "American brown ale" but a plain old "English boring... ehm, brown ale"?

Bottle Cold Pint Glass. Served cold at Electro Lounge in OKC. Has a fairly light nose, but not in a proper glass either. Dark slighty cloudy color with a quickly dissipating white head. Taste was rich compared to the Macro Browns but nothing very big, easily drinkable though. Some amounts of malty grains but no hops to speak of. Fairly light palate and light carbonation, I think it had to much in the way of filler grains used in the mash. Not a bod beer, I would order it again if the selection was limited. An easy drinking brown ale.

Bottle Red pour with nice head and decent lacing. Very malty aroma and flavor. Not too great overall, average.

Pours a deep amber brown with a bubbly tan head. Nutty and creamy lactic aromas are most present with just the faintest bit of hops in the background. Flavor follows the aroma well, but just a bit watery. Seems half-assed.
