Smells spicy,faintly of chocolate. Pours a deep murky brown with a small offwhite head. Taste is creamy with chocolate malts, slightly bitter with a pleasantly watery finish. A very enjoyable brown.

Browned bourbon caramel sauce nose. Brown color with hints of amber, foamy medium head. Soft chocolate and mild roasted sweet caramel with minimal bitter notes. medium carbonation and body, finish is malty sweet. Nice easy drinking brown ale packed with flavors.

Pours a brown color, sort of a dark nut brown. Smell is light but pretty good. I get a little hops, some sweetness. Taste is really really good. get some caramel, a bit nutty, malts, get some light hops. A really smooth beer, and has a nice creamy mouthfeel. I really am enjoying this one, one of the best brown ales i have had so far

Poured from 12 oz. bottle into recommended dimpled mug. Pleasant levels of the roasted malts and light chocolate aromas come across. Not much in the way of a lasting head or lacing. The beer drinks lighter and has a less heavy and clinging mouthfeel than many brown ales. I really enjoyed the balanced flavors and nice, not overly dry and bitter hoppiness at the end. As a previous rater noted, theis a brown ale that could be sessioned, making for a nice change of pace.

Pours a a dark, murky orange with a wispy white head. Slightly funky aroma, a bit of toe-jam and orange marmalade - mellows after a while. Sticky flavor, mangos, nectarines, some nuttiness, back end of spruce. Very full bodied and enjoyable. Thick and creamy mouthfeel. Very different brown ale - tastes more like an APA to me. When poured, this beer had a small sized tan head with large sized bubbles that mostly diminished. The body was clear with some carbonation observed and the hue was reddish-brown. The nose was lightly malty with a caramel and malty flavor to it. The mouthfeel was smooth and there was a fair amount of lacing with this beer. All-in-all, not a bad Brown Ale.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a ruby brown color with a small tan head. The aroma is roasty malts and fruity hops. The flavor is roasty and toasty malts with a light floral hop presence. I am not much of a fan of the style but this was surprisingly tasty.

BOTTLE: pours light brown with beige head. Aroma is very sweet, brown sugar. Flavor is sweet and delicious, lighter body than I hoped and a very short finish. Good flavor but more body would make this a great beer.
