Totally balck. medium on the palate and i a little oily and velvety. A little sweet. Hops are not that detectable, just faintly bitter on the finish. Pours black with a nice stable small creamy tan head. Nose is nicely malted with a touch of chocolate. Taste is chewy, roasty and chocolaty, gotta say this is a pretty good, balanced foreign stout.
