Clear amber color, frothy head, and some lacing. Sticky sweet cherry aroma. Dry smoke flavor, fruity backbone, caramel as well. Thick, somewhat sticky mouthfeel. The flavor is almost fishy, like a smoked trout or something.

750ml bottle, 2007. Aroma of liquid smoke. Flavors are woody, smoke, bourbon, and sweetness. Heavy on the smoke - almost too heavy. Could be pared alright with bbq or something if you wanted a match to the same flavors.

Bottle shared by argo0. Murky burgundy purple colored body. Huge nose of plum, tobacco, brandy, sherry, wood, etc. Sharp, hoppy, brandy and sweet bourbon, tobacco and plum richness, with some sharp oak or some other sort of harshness in the finish. Quite good, surprisingly.

Courtesy of argo0. Opaque amber body with a small off-white head. Toffee, raisins nose with light herbs and dough. The flavor is lightly sweet, very lightly bitter with toffee, raisins, plums, cookie dough and light roast. Medium body is soft with light to moderate carbonation.

750mL bottle, courtesy of argo0. Thanks, Aaron! Pours a murky, brownish-yellow color; khaki head with patchy fine-bubbled lacing. Pleasant amounts of caramel, nuts, and a touch of smoked and roasted malts in the aroma. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: plenty of sticky caramel, nougat, and chewy citrus upfront; a pleasant amount of bitterness and acidity come through (citrus, mineral); touch of vanilla and sweetness lingering. Medium finish: caramel, sugary malts, and some residual citrus.

Bottle, 7.2%. The aroma is mostly metallic, but also slightly smoky, a little unpleasant. Hazy red colour, small tan head. The flavour is distinctly smoky, but not overpowering. Toned down a bit by some maltiness. Cow stable aftertaste. Medium carbonation and OK mouthfeel.
